Am attempting to upload files to SharePoint of several clients.
Upload begins normally. After 2 - 4 mb of data transferred upload resets to 0 and begins again.
Upload continues normally until half of file is uploaded (eg 21.2mb of 42.4mb file)
Upload stops.
Approx. 5 minutes later error message "error in the application" appears.
Upload stopped.
File is displayed in SharePoint folder, but contains no data.

I was dealing with the same issue for more than a week. The deck would upload about halfway and then stall. It would then return the "error in application" message. I was using large image files (4mb/each on average) in a slide deck. The deck had grown to 118mb. I had performed multiple image compressions.
Well, I found a solution today. I was working with an IT administrator for my employer and he suggested that I copy and paste the PPT slides into a new deck with a new name, which I did. The size of the new deck was only about 46mb. I was able to upload the new deck without issue.
Hi W_NOLA,
Thank you very much for your information and suggestion.
Unfortunately in my case these are excel files which I already converted into xlsb.
I also already tried to minimize the file but in some cases it is not realistic and not useful to split into 3 or more pieces.
I use every time the suggested work around (via OneDrive) even if it is not comfortable.
