Dear sir

when tried to save JSON file from excel utility of Income Tax Return its not get saved or created either in defined destination or anywhere in PC

    I also faced the issue and found the reason and fixed...

    So anyone facing this issue can try the below unless there is any step missing and the utility is throwing validation..

    1. Search turn windows feature on or off
    2. Click on the plus sign against .NET framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
    3. Select the new option and that option as well
    4. click on okay.... restart the excel based utility and then try generating the json again.

    i am also facing the issue on mac. i get the message that file is created. however, i dont see the file at the location. is there any setting i am missing?

    Activating .Net framework 3.5 in windows 11 worked for me.
