how to integrate stream analytics alert into geneva

Question

I am setting up alert for stream analytic job in azure portal to monitor the job's performance. My question is when there is alert, how could I send a severity ticket to ICM? Thanks!

Hello @Qi Liao ,

There is no direct way to integrate stream analytics alerts into geneva.

From my understanding this is done via Action Groups. Here a metric alert needs to be defined and the action group can be a Function or a Logic App that will call the proper ICM API .

You may checkout the Q&A thread which addressing similar issue.

A viable alternative/workaround would be creating a custom connector that interfaces with the ICM's REST API.
