Hi, I changed the regional settings to English (United States) and the amounts still import with comma instead of dot.

Hi, I changed the regional settings to English (United States) and the amounts still import with comma instead of dot.

Naargh, DO NOT CHANGE THE REGIONAL SETTINGS!

Reset the settings of your OS and Excel as shown here:
System settings - How to import a CSV file that does not match your - Microsoft Community

Read my article again how to change the locale in Power Query:
Power Query - How to import a CSV file that does not match your locale - Microsoft Community

After the import of the CSV check if you have real numbers in the cells. If so, anything is okay.

    Otherwise show me your CSV.

    Andreas.

Isn't that logical if the delimiter is set as a comma?

Hi, the comma delimiter is the regional settings, could you kindly advise, how to achieve the 9.81?
