A web-based tool in Microsoft 365 that enables users to quickly create surveys, quizzes, polls, and feedback forms.
Dear @Ann Denny,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on your description, you would like to know whether Microsoft Forms allows adding custom images or logos as backdrops or headers in your form.
Microsoft Forms lets you upload your own custom images and logos, but only in specific places:
Form Header (Logo / Banner Area)
You can upload: a custom logo or A custom header image
How to do it:
- Open your form > Click the header section
- Select Insert Image
- Choose Bing Image Search, OneDrive, or Upload from your device
This image appears on the left side of the header next to your form title.
Background, Theme Image
You can also upload your own background image using the Theme panel:
- Click Style or Theme in the top toolbar
- Choose + Add Background Image
- Upload your own image from your device, OneDrive, or Bing
However, you cannot fully control scaling of background images. Forms will automatically crop/stretch them. And you cannot place multiple custom images around questions or adjust layout margins.
You can add your own images, logos and custom header/background images, but Forms does not offer full branding control like custom layout, exact positioning, or turning off image scaling.
If you need deeper branding control, embedding the Form inside your own web page and applying CSS is currently the only workaround.
