Hi, so here's what's going on. My PC originally did not meet requirements because the TPM module was not enabled in the BIOS. I also was on a local account and not a microsoft account when I initially tried to update. However, after enabling TPM and begrudgingly linking my PC to my microsoft account, Windows Update is still convinced that my PC doesn't meet systems reqs. I ran the PC Health Checker program and here are the results. 3T5lzDQ

And here is the error message the Windows Update shows me. 137875-screenshot-2021-10-05-161509.png

I have rebooted the PC several times and I have also run the Windows Update troubleshooter a few times to try to reset Windows Update but no luck so far. Please let me know if you have any guidance.

For anybody that has a failure to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without any unsupported findings using the Microsoft checkup tool:

    a) create a separate thread

    b) post share links using one drive, drop box, or google drive for the steps in the post dated: Oct 17 2021

Please post images or share links using one drive, drop box, or google drive of:
    a) the full health check results
    b) BIOS: UEFI and CSM settings
    c) disk management > widen volume and status columns and row disk 0 so that characters are not cutoff
    d) download and install mini tool partition wizard > click launch > post an image or share link

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2503-how-post-screenshot-disk-management.html
    https://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

    Run setupdiag: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/upgrade/setupdiag
Post a share link of the results.

List any of these installed non-Microsoft software:
    a) antivirus
    b) firewall
    c) drive encryption

    This may help someone.

I had the same issue - the Windows PC Health Check app passed my Win 10 configuration (I had to 1st enable TPM, UEFI & Secure Boot - but that is a story for another time!). But, the Win 10 upgrader didn't think my PC was ready.

I downloaded the Windows11 Installation Assistant & executed it. I didn't read the instructions properly and incorrectly assumed the tool will prepare the PC for Win 11 upgrade, but guess what, it actually went through and did the full Win 11 upgrade in less than 15 mins with no errors!

This can happen to virtual machines. If that's the case enabling virtualization extensions for the VM CPU might help:

    Enable:

    Set-VMProcessor -VMName <VMName> -ExposeVirtualizationExtensions $true

    Diable:

    Set-VMProcessor <VMName> -ExposeVirtualizationExtensions $false

You'll need to restart the hypervisor service when change this setting.
