Hi. £84.99 has been taken out of my bank account for Microsoft 365. But no subscriptions are showing to be able to cancel the subscription and request a refund.

Could you help me please?

This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, if you are sure no-one else has access to your banking details, using any Microsoft account you may have, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what that payment was for.

Then use the steps they provide on this link to cancel whatever that payment was for and get a refund.

If you are still unable to resolve that payment problem, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

Follow these steps to troubleshoot and request a refund:

    1. Check which account and store were used
      • Go to the Microsoft account dashboard payments area: Manage your payments.
      • Review the charge details and confirm which Microsoft account it is associated with.
      • If the subscription was purchased through a third party (Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon, Best Buy, etc.), cancellation and refund must be handled through that provider’s support, not through Microsoft 365 directly.
    2. Check for hidden or different-account subscriptions
      • Sign in at the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services using the Microsoft account that might have been used to buy Microsoft 365.
      • If nothing appears, try any other Microsoft accounts (different email addresses) that might have been used.
      • If you see the subscription and it shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, it is already set to expire and will not be charged again.
    3. If a subscription is found, cancel it
      • When the subscription appears, select Manage.
      • On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, then Cancel).
      • This stops future charges. If cancellation is within the eligible window and region rules, it may also trigger a refund.
    4. Check refund eligibility
      • For Microsoft 365 subscriptions bought from Microsoft, cancellation is required first to check refund eligibility.
      • Not all cancellations result in a refund.
      • In some countries (for example Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Turkey) cancelling may entitle to a prorated refund.
      • For guided help with Microsoft 365 refunds, use the self-help tool linked under Get help refunding your Microsoft 365 subscription and select Start.
    5. If no subscription shows but money was taken
      • Use How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft via the Manage your payments page to identify the charge.
      • If the charge is unrecognized or linked to an account that cannot be accessed, contact Microsoft Customer Support via the official support site and choose billing/subscription as the category.
      • If the account truly cannot be accessed and ownership cannot be proven, cancelling the payment method via the bank or card issuer is an alternative, as suggested in similar cases.
    6. If still unable to cancel or see the subscription
      • Follow the troubleshooting steps in Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription:
        • Confirm whether the purchase was via a third-party retailer or app store and, if so, contact that provider.
        • Ensure sign-in is with the same personal Microsoft account that purchased Microsoft 365.
        • Make sure there is no overdue balance; overdue amounts can block cancellation until paid.
      • If the issue persists, use the guided support link on that page (Start) to reach Microsoft support for direct assistance.
