reactiving window 11 home after reset

Question

I cannot reactivate my window 11 after I rest it. it shows error code is 0xC004C060.

it shows (we can't activate windows on this device because you don't have a valid digital license or product key. if you think you have a valid license or key, select troubleshoot below. error code: 0xC004C060)

A Windows reset should not usually cause Windows to become deactivated, the error (0xC004C060) usually indicates a blocked product key on the Microsoft servers.

Where did you get your Windows licence was that pre-installed on the PC or did you purchase a full retail Windows licence from Microsoft or from a 3rd party retailer, and if so, do you have the product key?

Or is your Windows licence based on a previous Windows 7 or 8 licence?

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

slmgr.vbs /dlv

To resolve this:

1. Verify that there is a valid product key or digital license
   • Activation requires either a 25-character product key or a Windows digital license. If Windows 11 was preinstalled or purchased, locate the key in the confirmation email, device packaging, or Certificate of Authenticity, or confirm that a digital license exists for this device.

2. Try activating with a valid product key
   • Go to Start > Settings > System > Activation.
   • Select Change product key and enter a valid 25-character key.
3. If the device previously had a valid Windows 11 Home digital license
   • Ensure the same edition (Windows 11 Home) is installed.
   • If a different edition is installed, use the Activation troubleshooter to correct the edition or reinstall the correct edition as described in the activation guidance.
   • If a significant hardware change (such as motherboard replacement) was made, use the Activation troubleshooter from Settings > System > Activation > Troubleshoot and follow the reactivation path described in Reactivating Windows after a hardware change.
4. If the key or license is no longer valid
   • Error 0xC004C060 can mean the product key cannot be used to activate Windows. In that case, enter a different valid key or purchase a new Windows license from Settings > System > Activation > Go to Microsoft Store.
