The steps to cancel the Microsoft 365 subscription are provided on this link, and while you are managing the subscription, ensure you disable the recurring billing on the subscription to ensure no further payment is taken from your account.

Then you would usually be entitled to a full refund, you can use the steps provided on this link to check your eligibility for a refund.

To try to get the money back, first cancel the subscription and then check if it is eligible for a refund.

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the PowerPoint/Microsoft 365 trial.
    2. Find the Microsoft 365 / Office / PowerPoint-related subscription and select Manage.
    3. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
    4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the cancellation.

After cancellation, refund eligibility depends on Microsoft’s subscription refund rules and timing. Use the refund guidance here to check if the charge can be refunded and follow the steps provided there: How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.

If the subscription was started or billed through a third-party store (for example, Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer), Microsoft cannot refund it directly. In that case, contact that retailer’s customer support and request cancellation/refund through them.

If the charge is not recognized or there are problems with the online steps, contact Microsoft Support and choose a billing/subscription category so an agent can review the transaction and advise on refund options.
