After adding iCloud for Windows on my prior Windows PC, sighing into my iCloud account the options included mail, calendar and contracts. That option is not there when I install iCloud for Windows on my Windows 11 laptop. Instead, there is a statement at the top of the iCloud for Windows that says that you access these at iCloud.com. Therefore, I cannot sync my iphone calendar and contacts with Outlook I cannot find anything online that solves this problem. Surely this is possible since there are so many of us that want to sync Outlook with our iPhone.

    SOLVED:

It appears that the new version of Office (16/O365) is missing some entries that the ICloud for Windows is looking for to know whether to show the Contacts/Calendar option or not.

    Close Outlook

    Open the Registry Editor

    Navigate to: HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\OUTLOOK.EXE

    Double-click (Default)

    Enter the path to your Outlook.exe: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\outlook.exe

Reopen the iCloud for Windows Settings and select Contact and Calendar option. When it completes the configuration, open up Outlook

You should now have it syncing like it was before!

    Cbeers

I spent more than an hour yesterday with an Apple Support Agent failing to resolve this issue of there being no option to synchronise Contacts and Calendars in the latest version of Icloud for Windows. His final suggestion was that I contact Microsoft about this issue. I pointed out as politely as I could that Icloud for Windows was an Apple programme and that Apple's responsibility was to talk to Microsoft if it was not working. The buck passing has to stop somewhere.

Glad you found a work-around for your Ipad. But it is not relevant to the issue being discussed here which is that Icloud for Windows no longer shows an option to synch contacts and calendars to a PC using Outlook and Windows 11.

    Hello @George Buxton

Since this is a issue related with an Apple application, I would be convenient you try also to reach community or Forum that is specific for that softwares and products as they would have better experience to provide guidance.

Up to my knowledge, in Windows 11 you will need to download iCloud App from the Microsoft Store. Once downloaded you will be prompted for your Apple ID and Password to sign in. The next window will allow you to select the features that you want to be Enabled on iCloud. Please retry the installation, and ensure that those options are selected.

In case that you are selecting them and then they don't appear, then you should investigate the configuration of out iCloud account, or contact Apple Support or their community.

Hope this helps with your query,
