HP Laptop restarting again and again Event ID 41

HP Laptop restarting again and again. getting error as "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." recently changed my laptop battery as it has some issues but i tried connecting back old battery even than laptop restarts again and again. Really need some help

2) Download and install: HP UEFI hardware diagnostics: version 8.5.0.0

3) Download and install: HP Hardware diagnostics Windows: 1.8.1.0
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp138501-139000/sp138768.exe

4) Download and install: HP Support Assistant: Version 9.13.85.0
https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/hp-support-assistant



5) Run the HP Support Assistant > make sure that BIOS and drivers are up to date

6) Power on the computer before bed > repetitively click F2 or F10 > run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics > system > extensive > loop until error > the next day if it has made two or more loops > click esc > take pictures > post images or share links displaying the tests performed with results

There were approximately 25 unexpected shutdowns and restarts during the past 30 days.

There were no recorded BSOD.

Indicate if there was hanging or freezing requiring power offs.

Indicate whether there was attached hardware including docking station.

C:\windows\livekernelreports is empty


2) Indicate if there were hangs or freezes requiring power offs. No hangs or freezes. It just shutsdown than have to manually restart the laptop


3) Indicate whether there were hardware attached to the laptop including docking station, port replicator, etc. Nothing is connected to laptop

1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

c) Full error scan


The full error scan can run overnight.





3) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

chkdsk /b /v

Run the command overnight as it can take significant time to complete.

The previous system shutdown at 11:38:21 on ‎19-‎05-‎2022 was unexpected.



Startup Repair successfully completed repairs.
The system volume was corrupt.
Repaired file system errors.



Volume C: (\Device\HarddiskVolume4) requires an Online Scan. An Online Scan will automatically run as part of the next scheduled maintenance task. Alternatively you may run "CHKDSK /SCAN" locally via the command line, or run "REPAIR-VOLUME <drive:> -SCAN" locally or remotely via PowerShell.


A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume C:.

A corruption was found in a file system index structure. The file reference number is 0x2600000004a701. The name of the file is "\Program Files\WindowsApps\ZohoCorp.ZohoBooks-Accountingonthego_2.5.11.0_x64__hfrrf6a1akhx2\Images". The corrupted index attribute is ":$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION".



Volume C: (\Device\HarddiskVolume4) needs to be taken offline for a short time to perform a Spot Fix. Please run "CHKDSK /SPOTFIX" locally via the command line, or run "REPAIR-VOLUME <drive:>" locally or remotely via PowerShell.
