We have moved our email from Google to M365 but Outlook thinks it is still Google

New email is coming into M365 and not Google so we know that it's pointing in the right place but when we try to add a mailbox to Outlook, it asks us to log into Google. There were 2 email addresses in Google and we have added more in M365. It doesn't matter whether it is one of the new or old ones, it always redirects to Google sign in page. If we choose Advanced Options and then Let me set my account up manually then we can log into M365 fine and can add the mailbox. Logging into M365 on the website is fine too, it's just when adding a mailbox to any email program.

This is obviously frustrating, how do we get rid of the Google connection?

    Hi JenBurnett,

Just before you talked about New Phone and now you shared the screen shot of desktop. Please make sure which issue you need to troubleshoot. If you want to solve the issue related to Mobile you need to go find one by one. if you have the issue in desktop application you need to go with the steps that i mentioned one by one.

Is this the new laptop that you are trying to connect where outlook setup has never done before?

    regards,
    Prakash Chhetry

It doesn't matter which device, the same problem happens on mobile and desktop and whether it's new or used before

    Hi JenBurnett,

It matters on device platform as well. You can use the advanced settings in the case of desktop applications.

    Regards,
    Prakash
