Copilot on mobile

Microsoft Copilot is accessible on mobile devices to help you be more productive and creative on the go with AI-powered chat for the web.

Commercial data protection in Copilot is currently available through the following mobile applications when eligible users are signed in to the app with their work or school (Entra ID) accounts:

  • Microsoft Copilot mobile app (iOS/Android)
  • Microsoft 365 mobile app (iOS/Android)
  • Microsoft Start mobile app (iOS/Android)
  • Bing mobile app (iOS/Android)

Copilot can also be accessed by visiting copilot.microsoft.com using a mobile web browser or in the Edge mobile app through a native Copilot button. For more information, see our Copilot in Edge page.

For a dedicated Copilot experience on mobile, we recommend the Copilot mobile application, which is available for iOS and Android. When eligible users are signed in to the Copilot mobile application with their work or school (Entra ID) accounts, they receive commercial data protection.

Users can also access Copilot for Microsoft 365 from the Copilot mobile application. If users have access to both Copilot and Copilot for Microsoft 365, they're able to switch between Web and Work scopes using a toggle at the top of the UI. Users can access Copilot with commercial data protection when in the Web scope and can access Copilot for Microsoft 365 when in the Work scope.

Microsoft 365 mobile application

Copilot with commercial data protection is also available in the Microsoft 365 mobile app when eligible users are signed in with their work or school (Entra ID) accounts. Users get the same commercial data protection and Copilot functionality—such as the ability to upload documents, craft and polish content, and create stunning images—directly within the Microsoft 365 app.

To manage Copilot in the Microsoft 365 (Office) app, admins can use the Microsoft Intune policy, group policy, or the Microsoft 365 admin center. Refer to documentation found here: Manage Microsoft 365 (Office) for iOS and Android with Intune.
