Onboarding essentials
Important
Any upgrade from the previous version of Onboarding essentials to the current version is not supported. You must uninstall any previously installed versions of Onboarding essentials before installing the current version.
Onboarding essentials provides a set of configurable components to address any onboarding scenarios. You can create an application using a combination of the Onboarding components and out-of-the-box platform components.
The following is a list of the Onboarding essentials components:
Applicant queue: A user interface control that provides the list of applications for the Onboarding agent to manage. For more information, go to Application queue.
Applicant snapshot: A user interface control that presents the customer's primary details. For more information, go to Customer snapshot.
Application progress: A user interface control that summarizes the status of all the application tasks in a grouped format. For more information, go to Application progress.
Application task manager: A user interface control that displays the task checklist, detailing all relevant data collection tasks that the agents must complete to proceed to the next stage of the Onboarding process. In addition, a workflow is triggered after the agent adds a new applicant for an application. For more information, go to Application task manager.
Document review: A user interface control that enables agents to track, manage, and confirm documents that are uploaded or provided by an applicant as part of an Onboarding scenario. In addition, this includes a document intelligence workflow that the business admin can configure. For more information, go to Document intelligence.
The following is a list of the out-of-the-box platform components:
Main application information: A user interface component that provides important information about the application.
Business process flow: A process component that presents the application's current stage within the Onboarding process flow.
Additional parties: A user interface component that displays details of the additional applicants who are part of Onboarding process.
Personas associated with the Onboarding essentials components
Onboarding essentials caters to the following user personas:
The Onboarding agent: Responsible for data collection. This persona completes the tasks checklist that usually includes reviewing forms and verifying documents.
The administrator or the business admin: Responsible for customizing the Onboarding essentials experience for the Onboarding agent. In addition, this persona can also decide which components to configure, extend, and use.
