Changing the Number You Call to Access Your Voice Mail

Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange

On some mobile phones, you can change the number you call to access your voice mail from your mobile provider's number to the Outlook Voice Access number. This lets you set the 1 speed dial key as the key you press and hold to dial the voice mail access number.

Changing Your Voice Mail Access Number

You can change the number you call to access your voice mail from your mobile provider's number to the Outlook Voice Access number on mobile phones that are running Windows Mobile as well as some mobile phones from certain manufacturers.

You won't be able to change the mobile provider's voice mail number on most non-Windows Mobile phones. But you can create a contact on your mobile phone, and then assign a different speed dial key to the contact and use the speed dial key to dial your voice mail. For more information, see Create a Contact for Voice Mail.
