- Review and respond to DLP alerts, including alerts correlated in Microsoft Defender.
- Identify requirements for data lifecycle management, including retention labels, retention label policies, and retention policies.
- Monitor and secure AI activity by using Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) for AI.
- Recognize the broader Microsoft Purview governance surface, including reporting and alerting, insider risk management, and auditing.
Prerequisites
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, and sensitive information types.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender incident investigation.
- Access to a Microsoft 365 E5 tenant (or Microsoft Purview Suite / Information Protection and Governance add-on) for DLP-for-Copilot and DSPM for AI labs; Microsoft 365 E7 (Frontier Suite) is preferred, since it also includes the Copilot licensing that DSPM for AI monitors.
