Kod Erişim Güvenliği (CAS), .NET Framework ve .NET'in tüm sürümlerinde kullanım dışı bırakılmıştır. .NET'in son sürümleri CAS ek açıklamalarını dikkate almaz ve CAS ile ilgili API'ler kullanılıyorsa hata üretir. Geliştiriciler, güvenlik görevlerini yerine getirmek için alternatif yöntemler aramalıdır.
