SQL Server 2022 Reporting Services 16.0.8886.1775 does not render map points correctly
Version 16.0.8784.14010 renders correctly. The Visual Studio SSRS extension 3.0.10 also renders the report correctly. Seems to be a bug in the latest version 16.0.8886.1775. Helped me to downgrade to version 16.0.8784.14010.
