Certificate not received after course completion

Certificates are only issued for Microsoft Certifications and certain official courses. Many Microsoft Learn modules and learning paths award only badges, not downloadable certificates.

To check whether a certificate is available and how to get it:

1. Go to the Certification Dashboard using the guidance in Access your certificates, badges, and transcript.
2. From the dashboard, select View Certificates in the Certificates section.
3. If a certificate exists for what was completed, it will be listed there and can be downloaded individually or as part of a .zip file.
4. If nothing appears, the course or activity likely provides only a badge, or the requirements for a certification (for example, passing all required exams) have not been fully met yet.

If a certificate is expected (for example, after passing a certification exam) but is missing, follow the steps in Missing Exams or Certifications to:

1. Confirm the correct Learn profile is being used and that all requirements for the credential are met.
2. If it still does not appear, contact Microsoft Credentials Support using the path described there so the credential team can review the account and add any missing certifications or certificates.
