How to Delay Delivery for All Messages in New Outlook (Outlook Version 1.2023.607.100)?

Before switching to New Outlook (Outlook Version 1.2023.607.100) I had delayed the sending of all messages by one minute. On New Outlook I can't find that option anymore. I tried to create a rule but "defer delivery by a number of minutes" isn't an option in the dropdown list of actions anymore. Same with creating a quick step.

Under Settings>>Mail>>Compose and Reply it allows you to "undo send" for up to 10 seconds and says "Messages can be canceled for up to 10 seconds. You can choose how long Outlook will wait to send your messages" - but I can't find where to do that.

    Hi @LBL ,

    Welcome to our forum!

In the New Outlook for Windows, you can delay the delivery of individual messages. Just select the dropdown next to the Send button and select Schedule send.

However, schedule sending for all emails is currently not supported in the New Outlook for Windows. As a workaround, you can switch back to the classic Outlook at any time by clicking the toggle button in the top right corner of the window.

I submitted your feedback on the dedicated portal via the link below: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/47b80343-320f-ee11-a81c-000d3a7a48db

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

Sometimes i really don't understand the people who make "upgrades" how they miss essential things and all the layers of approval sleep thru it; not just in MS all kinds of business.

For the rest of the folks here's my solution:

file / rules & alerts / new rule / apply rule on messages SEND / on this computer only / defer delivery by a number of minutes / click on the minutes 1 min is minimum

it will work ONLY on the device you set the rule. If you do it on your laptop and then send from your phone, guess what - phone won't delay

I keep vetting New Outlook and have reverted back to the old version each time because this feature is missing. This really needs to be added to the new version. I'm very disappointed in the lack of development to include this.
