Here's how I fixed mine http://www.petenetlive.com/KB/Article/0000304.htm
CAPI2 errors
I've been getting these errors since Power-up this morning. I've made no changes since yesterday. I've tried system restore, Image restore, sfc /scannow, removed Ready-Boost USB flash drive and can't find anything wrong. I get one error at PUP, and another error when I check Mail with Live-beta, another error for every message from Forums, and another error every time I enter Forums.

2010-07-14T17:28:40+00:00 That is the information that I'm getting from the certificate itself. The message states "The certificate is not valid for the dates in question or is inappropriate for the application in question". Only v3 of the document gives this particular error. v1 and v2 are fine. This certificate is dated 1998? I'm not sure. I just rolled back my audio drivers, removed my AVG, and changed so many settings trying to fix it I may never get my system back to where it was before this started again. Even a moron like me can learn from his mistakes, you'd think that someone with a brain-trust like Microsoft could do the same.

2010-07-14T17:11:58+00:00 I have these errors also on three computers of different types.
My understanding is that it is a certificate date error from Microsoft that will be fixed.

2010-07-14T13:23:06+00:00 And again, and again. Now I had to disable the UAC just to be able to access Services and EventViewer! I predict a complete, fresh re-install on brand new unpolluted HDDs in my near future. I didn't have this problem for months, not a single CAPI2 error. Personal opinion: FUBAR.
