Hi I have a HP Spectre laptop and I have had bluetooth on my laptop. Today my microsoft bluetooth mouse stopped working as well as my other bluetooth devices. I have checked and this is the message I get. Now I have had bluetooth on this laptop since I purchased it and have not done anything to the laptop.

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

"To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

and this:

Device USB\VID_8087&PID_0A2B\5&3a83d6be&0&7 requires further installation."

How can I fix this!!!

    Hi,

I hope that an update from Microsoft wil fix this problem.

For now: I regularly lose my bleu tooth and have to brute force boot to restore it.

Could it be that the Bluetooth driver has been replaced in a new Microsoft update?

The Bluetooth buttons have re-appeared on my laptop on their own.

Thanks so much, David!  I was at my wits end until I finally came upon your fix.  I downloaded the 20.30 driver and at first couldn't execute it.  Light bulb went on and "ran as administrator".  Everything is going fine now (hope it lasts!).

    Thanks again!

I did - it wouldn't execute. Restarted and managed to execute it then. Go figure. Thanks.
