So this is not a driver issue then. By the way, you are also on OEM driver now. My explanation about bluetooth bandwidth limitation is still true and is still a fact you want to consider. So that means, when you have the controller connected, make sure any enhancement for audio or audio boost feature is disabled. Do you use mic too over bluetooth when you play games?
"Generic Bluetooth Adapter Error Code 31"
I've been having issues with bluetooth and when I check device manager I notice something called "Generic Bluetooth Adapter". I dont know what it is and it also has the Error Code 31
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful. "
I'm guessing this is causing my problems with bluetooth. How do I fix this?

1: What is an OEM driver and what does it mean to be on one?
2: If it is the bandwidth are there any steps I could take to overcoming that?
3: Where can I find enhancements to audio or audio boosting features so I can make sure they are disabled? -

Typically you want OEM driver, to make sure all features that should come with the hardware (in your case, the bluetooth adapter) will be included, while generic driver cannot guarantee that, it only makes sure basic feature is covered.
- Unfortunatly there's not much you can do. It is simply a bluetooth technology limitation. This is why a lot of gamers would use wired headset.
- To disable all enhancement, hold down Windows+R keys, type in mmsys.cpl and press enter. Then double click on the headphone, go to Enhacement tab, disable all there. In the Spatial sound tab, make sure it is turned off.

2024-06-21T02:43:49+00:00 Ok I have disabled all enhancements and the problem still persists. Is there any further steps I could do to try and fix this? As I said before this issue was not present till semi-recently and came for seemingly no reason.
