Whenever I attempt to update my Nvidia drivers or even install any Nvidia programs such as GeForce, I get this error and don't know what to do:

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program:

...splayDriver/551.76/Win11_Win10-DCH_64/International/setup.exe

File: f:/dd/vctools/vc7libs/ship/atlmfc/include/atlexcept.h

Line: 95

Expression: false

I have already attempted to delete, repair and reinstall Visual C++ with no success

    Hey!

I had the same issue and literally nothing worked. I did everything and more.
Then I noticed that my Bitdefender wasnt working properly either, so I looked it up and I was informed to download English (US) language pack from Windows language settings and add it as the preferred language. Then I restarted my pc and Bitdefender worked.

THEN I had the idea to try install Nvidia latest driver one last time and it amazingly worked. After trying every single tip on internet, downloading English (US) language pack and setting it as default did the trick.

Curious to know if this works for anyone else.

Yessir!!! But on the Opposite end. I live in Canada, and noticed my language in the settings was switched to English (US). So I switched it back to English (Canada), and Voila!!! I am glad I read through this and found your reply. And I hope others find it and try it as well. CHECK YOUR LANGUAGE SETTING IN WINDOWS> MAKE SURE IT IS SET TO YOUR COUNTRY!!!

This worked for me as well! Thank you for the fix. I had the exact same set of issues w/ NVidia updates and Bitdefender not working.

Too late to check since I already reset, but I do think this is the answer. My Bitdefender was also screwed up.
