Server Error A server error occurred. Please try again. [2605]

A couple of days ago, I noticed that my emails stopped synching in my outlook mobile app. I tried to log out/in and was greeted with the following message:

  "Server Error A server error occurred. Please try again. [2605]"

I get this error with every outlook account, on wifi and mobile data, and in web browsers as well. I have another phone and tablet which the app is working perfectly fine.

I have tried essentially every solution that's posted when you search for this error:

  • Turned off wifi
  • Manually added 365 account
  • Cleared cache and data
  • Allowed all permissions
  • Uninstalled/reinstalled outlook
  • Ran phone system update

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Clear the data for Company Portal App. And resign in into the teams app. This worked for me.

    This worked Thomas. Thank you.

    Guys - just delete the cache and data from your company portal and register again. Once company portal is registered then try outlook and teams - it worked for me.

    I am also having this problem. After resetting the password. It not allowing me to login teams/outlook on my phone. For workaround Iam using Browser for outlook but for teams no solution as of now.

    I had same issue which is been resolved by uninstall the company portal and team and re-install
