There is a much easier solution than shown in the video. The change MS made is a combination of operating system and font. The result is that for a number of fonts lines are too close together in Windows 8 and 10. I don't think Microsoft are interested in
cleaning up this mess as the use of Publisher is limited.
However, if you copy the font files from a Windows 7 machine (and store them securely somewhere) and use these in Windows 8 or 10, it looks fine again. The only problem is that when MS push out a new release such as Anniversary, the fonts are replaced again,
so you do need to keep those old fonts and copy them back to the font directory after each major update. But then it all works.
