PowerPoint now supports selecting multiple object on a slide!

You have to press and hold an object with one finger and then tap other objects with another finger.

    Problem solved!!!!

    Cheers

Selecting multiple objects is currently not supported in PowerPoint for iPad.

If a set of items is already grouped (using a different client like PowerPoint for Windows/Mac), you can move those objects as a group on the iPad.

Thanks for the feedback, and let us know if there is anything else you would like to see improved!

Absolutely agree that selecting multiple objects is absolutely essential and it is really a major drawback that this functionality is not implemented. Even if mutliselect would only be possible via attached keyboard or via menu command, that would not be an issue at all.

Please make this otherwise so well programmed app a superb one istead of just a kind of game (because no multi-select). Thank you.

BTW, I really appreciate that MS has changed over the last years. While in the past if was a very arrogant and not much liked company this label now goes to others, as MS has started to listen to its customers and taking their opinion serioulsy.

Please do act like this here too and listen to all the customers above and many that do not express themselves. Many are working on the road nowadays and having powerpoint on the ipad is so great.

    Thank you

    Armin

    Hi Microsoft,

I am trying to make the transition from Keynote back to PowerPoint.

I just got tripped up on the multiple item selection non-feature described on this thread.

Why not list the feature comparisons to competitive apps and different platforms?

Also this is the way that Apple has implemented the multiple object select touch gestures.

    Thanks,

    Jack

if you can't multi select, group nor window the app becomes unusable.

    I cannot use this.
