It is important for me to know because I have seen the same problem on other computers running Office 2010.

    Hello,

Thank you for your response and for the screenshots helping us to reproduce the issue.

Also, in one of your previous replies you have mentioned that it occurs on multiple computers with Office/Excel 2010 on them.

Let us know if all your computers (with Office 2010) on which this issue occurs connected to a Network or Server?

    Let us know the above.

    Thank you.

    I got it!

Mohan Suryanarayan, the key to reproducing it is the above steps with one clarification.

    This step:

    "Logical_test > Insert function OR:"

is completed using the Name Box. With the "Logical_test" input field selected in the "Function Arguments" dialog, click the Name Box drop down and select "OR" or "More functions" if "OR" is not displayed and then find and select "OR". Click in the "Logical 1" input box and then in the "Logical 3" input box to see the problem. At no time is any value entered into any of the arguments input boxes.

Ok Kevin. I will try to show my steps.

New Workbook. Cell A1 > Insert Function > Choose IF

    IF Function Arguments Window:

    Logical_test > Insert function OR:

Continue to Logical2 of the OR function:

Continue to the Logical3 of the OR function. The distortion appears ...

I still can't reproduce the problem.

Please tell us exactly what keys you are pressing and when. Start with a new workbook. When taking screenshots, include the formula bar and the cell in which the formula is being entered.

I'm assuming you are starting a new formula with the Function Arguments dialog already open.

Are you entering the formula in the formula bar, the cell, or the dialog?

    Thank you for the assistance.

I followed the steps to repair Office 2010 but the distortion remains.

Can you reproduce that specific layout on your system?

This is an IF + OR formula and this distortion happens after the third value.

I am using a COMBINATION of IF + OR functions.

I start with the IF function.

Then at the "logical_test" field of the IF Function I insert the OR function.

After inserting a value at the Logical1, Logical2, Logical3 ... of the ORfunction the distortion appears...

If I use ONLY the "OR function" there is no distortion:

It is important for me to know because I have seen the same problem on other computers running Office 2010.

    Thank you.
