Can not edit query after update excel to Monthly channel office

Question

Hi,

I have a excel with query and able to edit it, but I can not do that after been updated to Monthly Channel office, can you please advise?

Hi Steven,

OK now I understand. I checked the fields are editable in version 1801. 

Also as I mentioned before, the "Edit Query" functions works fine in that version too.

Given this situation, you can keep using the previous version of Office for now.

Currently there's no ETA of the release date, let's just wait for the update.

Hi Jim,

Will you recognize it is an issue and will be fixed later in new release? or this function will go away? I really like the function, very easy to connect to sharepoint list.

Hi Steven,

I think the related team is improving the feature, and I understand your requirement. 

As far as I know the function works in the new release. There's no documentation mention it will be removed in the future.
