The Microsoft ESB Guidance includes a broad range of artifacts, and it is essential that your system conforms to the prerequisites specified in the section Installation Prerequisites. After installing all prerequisites, follow this sequence to install the Microsoft ESB Guidance:
- Unpack the Microsoft ESB Guidance Source Files
- Install the Microsoft ESB Guidance
- Configure BizTalk and Machine.config Files
- Install the ESB Exception Management Framework (required only if you do not install the Microsoft ESB Guidance core solution)
- Install the ESB JMS/WMQ Components
- Install the ESB Management Portal and Associated Services
- Configure Exception Management InfoPath Form Template Shares
- Install the Sample Applications
- Configure Secure Web Service Connections
- Start the Microsoft BizTalk ESB Guidance Application
- Install the Pipeline Components into the Visual Studio 2005 Toolbox
