What a mess!

I used to use https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/office/en-us/home?forum=accessdev which is now dead and we are told to come here instead. I am dismayed by this forum. Select Access brings us to office addins which has nothing to do with Access! There are no excerpts of threads so one has to enter each thread to figure out if it is something they can help with our not. You would have thought Microsoft would have learnt from the answers forums fiasco, but apparently not. Even the editor is poor making a mess when adding things like links,... It is pretty obvious that Microsoft didn't test this solution, nor do any usability testing. Why replace the social forum with an inferior one?! What a disappointment! This is the best Microsoft has to offer!

Further, this post was all formatted, but once submitted just one large clump.

Also disappointing to see some members clearly identified as community experts, yet MVP aren't identified as such.

For Access development, the team decided not to add a tag for each Office App. We have contacted them based on this and other user's feedback and we will add the tags if they agree it is needed. It is their decision as they are the ones supporting the products.

I am not sure about the errors you mention in the editor or how you posted the content not to respect the line breaks.

It is true that MVPs are not identified in the site per-se, although MVPs are identified in the user's card.

I am closing this feedback as there is not clear action item for us to do here. Thank you for your feedback!

Hello @DanielPineault-1898 , we have heard your feedback and relayed it to the Partner Group. They have decided to make a new tag for Access "office-access-dev", you can visit this tag through the Microsoft 365 on Q&A landing page, or by manually searching it. Users may now ask questions regarding Access using this tag. thank you!
