How to set the default keyboard layout?

Hi

I'm facing this issue with Windows 11 only, because there is no priority option for the keyboard layout.

I have installed 3 languages on my laptop, English, Arabic, and German, but I couldn't set the default keyboard layout. The keyboard language is changing automatically, I remember that there was an option in windows 10 which let me select the default keyboard layout.

Can you please help me to set the default keyboard layout.

Is this description for Windows 11? Do you mean Settings > Bluetooth and Devices?

Because I don't see the Devices.

Hi Mohammed,

You are correct that there is no "Devices" option in the Windows 11 Settings menu. The correct steps to access the "Advanced keyboard settings" are:

> Click on the "Start" button and select the "Settings" gear icon.

> Click on "Time & Language."

> Select "Language & Region" from the left sidebar.

> Under "Preferred languages," click on "Options" next to the language for which you want to set the default keyboard layout.

> Scroll down and click on "Advanced keyboard settings."

From here, you should be able to disable the "Let me switch to a different input method when I move my mouse to the corner of the screen" feature to see if this resolves the issue.

unfortunately, it didn't work. I think that I should reinstall my Windows OS. And will see if it will solve the issue.
