Tomasz that did the trick; I added my keyboard and removed the default (English) and now it's all working well. Thanks!
How to set the default keyboard layout?
Hi
I'm facing this issue with Windows 11 only, because there is no priority option for the keyboard layout.
I have installed 3 languages on my laptop, English, Arabic, and German, but I couldn't set the default keyboard layout. The keyboard language is changing automatically, I remember that there was an option in windows 10 which let me select the default keyboard layout.
Can you please help me to set the default keyboard layout.

2024-12-25T09:22:41+00:00 I've been able to set the default keyboard on my WIN11 machine. It's a simple as the first one listed is the one it considers default. So once you have all your keyboards added to the list (plenty of tutorials on that), delete the US English QWERTY one, then adding it back will put it at bottom of the list.
Worked for me with Colemak as my preferred layout instead of QWERTY.
