Worked for me as well. Btw, the first answers sounded really AI-ish, I hope they still have people helping here, and not just some random bot telling you to start editing the registry.
So long story short, there seems no UI way to reorder the list (beside remove and add keyboards) and the first in the list is the default.
Way to go Product Manager who decided to remove the "reorder" or "make default" option from the settings. Who does stuff like that?
