Currently, this issue has been posted to the Service Health Dashboard (SHD) as incident OP997892starting at 2025-02-05 8:27:03 PM (CST).
Title: Some users are unable to create or run Excel Automate Office scripts
User impact: Users are unable to create or run Excel Automate Office scripts.
More info: Impact is occurring in both the Excel web and desktop version.
Current status: We're continuing to review system logs and telemetry to isolate the root cause. In parallel, we're checking to see if any recent updates may be contributing to impact alongside attempting to internally reproduce impact for further troubleshooting details.
Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to create or run Excel Automate Office scripts are impacted.

Based on the situation, I suggest you report this to your tenant admin or IT team and ask them to check the existing service incidents in your organization. If they can see this service incident, I recommend you wait for the fix from Microsoft. If they don't see this incident via the Issue ID, I suggest raising a support ticket from the Microsft 365 admin center.
