AZ-700 is an associate-level exam that grants the “Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate” certification when all requirements are met. If the certification or exam is not appearing on the transcript, the following supported causes and steps apply:

    1. Allow time for results to post
Exam results can take up to 24 hours (sometimes 24–48 hours, especially over weekends) to appear on the Learn profile and transcript after passing the exam.
    2. Confirm the certification requirements
Verify that all required exams for the associated certification are passed. Some certifications require more than one exam; a certificate is only issued after all required exams are completed. Use the certification or exam details pages to confirm requirements.
    3. Check the correct Learn profile/account
Missing certifications are often due to using a different account when registering or taking the exam.
      • Make sure sign-in is with the same Microsoft account used to register for and take AZ-700.
      • If multiple Learn profiles or login accounts exist (work, school, personal), sign out and try each one.
      • The “congratulations” email for a passed exam is sent to the Contact Email in the Learn profile; if the certification is not visible when following that email’s profile link, it may be associated with another profile.
    4. Verify where to view certifications and transcript
      • Certifications: go to the Learn profile → CredentialsCertifications and select View certification details.
      • Transcript: go to the Learn profile → Transcript to see active certifications and exams passed.
    5. Check for legacy or provider-related issues
      • Some older/legacy certifications are no longer shown in Learn profiles.
      • Exams taken via Certiport do not currently appear in the Learn profile and must be managed via the Certiport account instead; however, AZ-700 is normally delivered via Pearson VUE, so this is mainly relevant if a different provider was used.
    6. If the certification is still missing
After confirming the above and waiting the required time, use the official “Missing Exams or Certifications” guidance and contact Microsoft Credentials Support for investigation of the specific certification ID and account mapping:
      • Follow the troubleshooting steps in Missing Exams or Certifications.
      • If still unresolved, use the Contact Support option on that page to open a support request with Microsoft Credentials Support.
