Hi,

Sending mail from my own email server (a Cloud Server) to 365 hosted email accounts is suddenly refused this week. We followed all the steps 100 times (as described) but the e-mail is still refused with the message:

550 5.7.511 Access denied, banned sender[x.y.z.205]. To request removal from this list please forward this message to delist@messaging.microsoft.com. For more information please go to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=526653. AS(XXXX) [XXXXXXXXXXXX068.eop-NAM04.prod.protection.outlook.com] (in reply to RCPT TO command))

And we also tried the following two alternative methods 100 times each according to other Microsoft online documentation.

  1. sender.office.com
  2. Use the Microsoft delist portal to remove from the blocked senders list.

The server is not listed on a blacklist (mxtoolbox check) and it is usual sending to Google hosted custom domains and other systems.

How can I delist my ip-address? And is it possible to see for what reason the ban is?

It's now day three with this problem and I want to know how to fix this. My clients are very unhappy.

Another Microsoft representative pointed me to post it to this community, I hopes it can be solved asap.

Linode NSW 172.105.xxx.xxx banned, no issues with SDNS, have had good standings for years, my money is on a junior dev added some code before they went on XMas holidays hadn't considered how many small businesses they could destroy in the release.

Its now 2022, I am sure you can ban IPs with extreme precision rather than blacklisting entire IP ranges, I just don't understand why I and other legitimate businesses need to suffer because of a few and your laziness to deal on a specific IP basis - I would be happy to join any class action at this point in time as this is becoming ridiculous and is hurting not only my business but also my reputation as a host.

Not really adding anything new, but I'm in the same boat, running a mail server on Linode NSW.

OK if MS is going to deny us service, it's time we blacklisted them - are you in?? ;-)

This is just really bad form now Microsoft, you're just not playing nicely. A couple of days is a mistake. This is monopolistic activity, time to get the Feds to break you up.

Seriously, fix the problem this is not funny.

    Still not working:

    ...bla bla...

Also unable to FWD to delist@messaging.microsoft.com.
    That results in:
Your message to delist@messaging.microsoft.com couldn't be delivered.
A custom mail flow rule created by an admin at frontbridge.com has blocked your message.

    ...bla bla...

    custom rule --- see --- custom --- ha-ha-ha---what-a-joke

frontbridge.com should be scrapped and replaced by a real anti-spam solution --- it currently blocks legit emails!

    Nothing new...

Unfortunately getting the same issue and it's been happening for weeks. Merry Christmas. Microsoft ignored the first ticket that got through, but a second reply told me it'd been blocked by a custom rule.

Calling them, I was told they'd have someone look into it but that never happened. Another attempt let me know I did not qualify for mitigation, followed by broken links to guidelines that I'm already following.

    Linode, Frankfurt DE 139.x.y.z.

Is Microsoft supposed to reply on these threads?
