Prerequisites
- Frontier program: You need to be part of the Frontier program and sign up to accept terms of participation to get early access to Copilot Code. Frontier connects you directly with Microsoft's latest AI innovations. The Frontier program is subject to the existing terms of your customer agreements. As these features are still in development, their availability and capabilities may change over time.
- Microsoft Copilot access: An active Microsoft Copilot license assigned to your account, or a personal Microsoft account on a supported plan.
- Code available: The Code tab is enabled in your Microsoft Copilot environment.
- The desktop app or a supported browser: Copilot Code runs in the Microsoft Copilot desktop app for Windows and Mac, and on the web for cloud development.
- No GitHub account, GitHub Copilot license, or coding experience required.
