Resize support for Windows 365 Business (public preview)

You can now use the resize remote action for Windows 365 Business Cloud PCs. For more information, see Remote management actions.

Single sign-on (public preview)

Windows 365 Business now supports single sign-on for new and existing Cloud PCs. You can turn on single sign-on in Organizational settings. When turned on, users no longer have to sign in to the operating system. For more information, see Configure single sign-on for Windows 365 Business.

New Microsoft Teams app is now generally available for Windows 365

The new Microsoft Teams app has moved out of preview and into general availability. It's been optimized for faster performance and more efficient resource use on Cloud PCs. For more information, see Upgrade to new Teams for Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure.

The new Microsoft Teams app is not yet available in the Windows 365 gallery images.

Windows App now available in public preview

Windows App lets users securely connect to Windows devices and apps. Supported remote devices include:

  • Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Windows 365 Cloud PC
  • Microsoft Dev Box
  • Remote Desktop Services
  • Remote PC

Windows App is available for Windows, macOS, iOS and iPadOS, and web browsers.

Two new sizes for Cloud PCs

Two new sizes are now available for Windows 365 Cloud PCs:

  • 16vCPU/64GB RAM/512GB storage​
  • 16vCPU/64GB RAM/1TB storage

These 16 vCPU licenses can be purchased and assigned in the same way that you purchase and assign other Windows 365 licenses.

Self-help in Windows 365 Business

A new self-help button for end users is now available for Windows 365 Business. End users will be able to click the ? button and ask questions to find relevant help topics.

Live captions for Microsoft Teams on Windows 365 Cloud PCs

For Windows 365 Enterprise and Business Cloud PCs, Microsoft Teams can now detect what is said in a meeting and display real-time captions. The captions can be toggled on and off.

To use live captions in a meeting, go to your meeting controls and select More options and Turn on live captions.

End users can now provide feedback to Microsoft from within the Windows 365 web client and directly on windows365.microsoft.com.

Point-in-time restore (preview)

Users can now restore a Cloud PC to a state from a previous point in time. Multiple near-term and long-term restore points are available. For more information, see Point-in-time restore for Windows 365 Business.

To make it easier for admins to set up Windows 365, a link has been added to the Microsoft 365 admin center home page. Admins with Windows 365 Enterprise licenses will see a link for intune.microsoft.com and admins with Windows 365 Business licenses will see a link for windows365.microsoft.com.

Higher Cloud PC screen resolution option (preview)

Cloud PC users can now choose a higher screen resolution when they connect to their Cloud PC from https://windows365.microsoft.com.

Windows 365 Business Cloud PCs are now created with Windows 11 installed by default. For information about how to change the default operating system between Windows 10 and Windows 11, see Change organization default settings. On windows365.microsoft.com, users can see the difference between their Windows 10 and 11 Cloud PCs.

Manage Cloud PCs in the Microsoft 365 admin center and windows365.microsoft.com

You can now control organization-wide Cloud PC settings and device-level actions in the Microsoft 365 admin center and on windows365.microsoft.com.
