Hello, @Wesley Yeary !
Why can't I sign in to use the sandbox?
Note: This thread will be used for updates and to collect information related to this issue.
This has been an ongoing issue that has been affected a small but significant percentage of users. The sandbox team has been made aware of the issue however they have been unable to reproduce this locally. While a fix was released last month, there are several dependencies which complicate this (including the email/account type used) and it appears that many people are still running into this. If you encounter this issue, we are asking for the following information to help create a new fix:
Edit 8/7/23 - A browser trace is being requested by the sandbox team to help troubleshoot this issue:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/capture-browser-trace
1. Press F12 to open the Developer Console in your browser
2. Go to the Network Tab
3. Click to select Preserve log
4. Refresh the page and then reproduce the sign-in issue
5. Click on the download icon to Export HAR…
6. Send the HAR as an attachment to AzCommunity@microsoft.com with the subject "Attn: kobulloc – Sandbox sign-in browser trace"
Additional information that may be helpful:
- Your Learn profile ID (we can get this if you post a comment)
- Repro steps to help isolate the cause of the issue (including what type of email account you are using)
- We may request additional information via email as we continue to investigate this
Thank you all very much for your patience as we address this issue.
Thank you for your report:
- @Griffin, John J - 6/13/23 (link): Stuck in sign in loop using corporate credentials (sign in with your account > If your account doesn't have a registered Learn profile, this process will complete that for you).
- @Kat D - 6/12/23 (link): Keeps receiving an error when trying to verify email and create a sandbox. Has attempted creating a new Outlook alias but is still getting the error.
- @Josh K - 6/8/23 (link): Stuck on "Sign in with your account" when creating a sandbox.
- @Stephen Burroughs - 6/2/23 (link): Attempted to start Exercise - Configure network access, verified permission, and sandbox clock started however they were still prompted to sign in on the right where the sandbox should have been.

Community provided workarounds:
- Sirée Koolen-Wijkstra 6/4/23 (link): "My problem was solved when I created a new account and linked both accounts. The error was due to some policy from work."
- @GALAL, HASHIM 5/28/23 (link): This was resolved by disabling the company VPN and trying to log in again, or by disabling the company proxy in your browser and logging in again.
- @Kiran Chitla 5/28/23 (link): Linked the email address to their account by verifying the account, then signed out from all Microsoft accounts and signed back in using the email ID.
