Program OneNote Add-In?

Question

Hello,

I am new to the field. Now I learned that there are OneNote add-ins. For example, I want to program a ruler (I know that already exists in OneNote). Do you have any ideas how I can do this? Do you know where to find other add-ins? Maybe I can get ideas from those as well. I already added an add-in, like in the tutorial, but I just need help programming it.

If you want the OneNote web add-ins, you may refer to following reference table of contents:

If you want the OneNote desktop app add-ins, there will be COM add-ins or VBA macros. For more, please refer to my reply in following thread:
