2023-08-21T02:13:20.4433333+00:00 I tested this project with Visual Studio 2022 17.6 and the program works fine after hitting F5.
For further investigation, could you please provide the following information?
- Will this issue occur in a new project?
- What version of Visual Studio you are using?
Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

2023-08-21T06:15:56.26+00:00 - yes, it is a new project. I tried it many times. I always get some error. I have been trying to create a .NET MAUI app for at least a year, without success. My project is delayed because of that. I was not able to make even the simplest app with .NET MAUI.
- I am using Visual Studio 17.7.1

2023-08-22T05:39:53.74+00:00 After testing, I updated Visual Studio to the same version as you, and the program still works fine.
This should be caused by some problem with your Visual Studio.
Please refer to the following documentation to re-install maui component.
In addition, for such Visual Studio questions, it is recommended that you publish the problem to Visual Studio feedback.
