As Microsoft has announced that on 1 November the workflow 2010 will be expired.. so i have the following 2 questions, if there is an end date for these 2 components:-

1) Workflow 2013 inside SharePoint online?

2) Classic UI if we are rendering a list using the Classic UI and not the Modern UI:-

November 2020: SharePoint 2013 Workflows turned off by default on new SharePoint Online tenants. New tenants will not be able to create SharePoint 2013 (or 2010, for that matter) workflows. McNulty states that Microsoft will provide a PowerShell script to turn on these workflows, if needed.

For existing tenants (ones created prior to November 2020): SharePoint 2013 workflows will be supported, but are deprecated, meaning no new development or enhancements will be provided.

“Deprecated” really means “time to find another workflow solution” and they shouldn't be creating any New 2013 Workflows.

As of now there is no exact date for both of those, we might have to wait little more longer for that, but again you never no when they push it.

    Thanks & Regards,

1.According to these two articles: SharePoint 2010 workflow retirement and SharePoint 2013 Workflows – End of Life Approaching for Microsoft 365 Tenants,

"SharePoint 2013 workflows will remain supported, but will be retired at some point in the future; we recommend that you migrate to Power Automate or other supported solutions, such as those from Preferred members of our Microsoft 365 Business Apps Partner Program.

Starting November 1, 2020, SharePoint 2013 workflows will be turned off by default for new tenants. We will provide a PowerShell script to let you activate the SharePoint 2013-based workflow engine for new environments, as needed.

For existing tenants (ones created prior to November 2020): SharePoint 2013 workflows will be supported, but are deprecated, meaning no new development or enhancements will be provided.

“Deprecated” really means “time to find another workflow solution”. McNulty of course suggests the “house wine” – Power Automate, but also encourages people to look at solutions from Preferred members of the Microsoft 365 Business Apps Partner Program."

2.Microsoft has no retirement announcement for classic UI.
