Add Shared Mailbox with IMAP on Outlook 2016

There is a was to add an IMAP shared mailbox on outlook 2016? For Standard Account is required authentication and ssl Encrypted Connection.

 

I have access on the public OWA but I'm not able to connect it to Outlook.

 

There is a way or simply is not possible?

    Hi @giobaxx

    Are you using Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) as email service?

    If yes, it is not possible to access shared mailbox with IMAP in Outlook.

    As basic authentication is blocked in Exchange Online and Outlook doesn't support OAuth for IMAP.
