RDP into VM

Hello, From beginning we know that RDP works only with Windows-hello Cert-trust Model. Meaning, if I want to log into any VM (AAD-Joined or Hybrid-joined VM) via RDP through windows-hello, then my physical laptop's Windows-hello Credential must be with Certificate.

However, what I found is, I was able to sign into the VM using my WH-credential on the windows-security popup (as shown below) opened by RDP-client (mstsc.exe)

This WH-credential has NO certificate attached with it in my physical Win10 laptop.

So wanted to know, what exactly is happening here.
