Azure AI Document Intelligence - Relate Id's to multiple records in a table

Hi all,

I am working with the Azure AI document Intelligence tool and I'm trying to relate an employeeId to multiple time records in a table. The issue I'm running into is that I can't add the employeeId to multiple lines in a table and there can be multiple different employees with time in this table. The question I'm asking is there a way in the Azure AI document intelligence tool to relate a field to multiple lines in a table? Please see below for an example.

@Andrew Welle Azure Document intelligence prebuilt models(layout) can process the table image as passed and can recognize the table in the output response. Please see the screenshot below for reference.

The table structure is preserved in the studio, indicating that the JSON response in the table element recognized the cells correctly and you can process the JSON data to construct a table in your application if required or just process the cells as required. I hope this helps!!

@romungi-MSFT thanks for the response. This doesn't work for my use case. I need to use the custom model to map other fields in the document too. Can something like above work in a custom model?

@Andrew Welle Custom model should also be able to pull the table structure as is. If you use labels to train the model to recognize a specific structure, then you can use the labels in response for further processing. If the table structure keeps changing you will have to train additional custom models and use custom classifier model or composed model to process the documents.

Thanks for that information. Is there a way with custom models to assign a value to multiple tags/fields?
