Retrieve data in D drive for Windows VM

Hello!

I have a windows VM which I had to resize. However, I missed taking a snapshot of the disk before this and didn't have any scheduled backup either.

Is there any possibility of recovering the files that were present in the D drive [Temporary disk]?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately there is no way to recover files that were on an Azure VM temporary disk before resizing to a different VM size. Resizing may result in the VM being redeployed to different physical host and/or a different size temporary disk causing disk to be effectively wiped.
