MS Access version 2407 unable to connect to Salesforce via Linked Table Manager

Question

Has anyone else experienced a problem connecting to Salesforce after updating to version 2407 (Build 17830.20138) Current Channel?

Issue started happening last week (7/29/2024) to user where they get error ODBC--connection to '{{Salesforce}}' failed when attempting to connect.

I determined I could log in using both my credentials and his credentials on my machine, but both got the above error on his machine. Turned out my version was 2405 while his was 2407.

After updating my version to 2407 I am now getting the error message for both credentials.

Hi,

There have been multiple reports about this problem that started with the updates on July 9. We have informed Microsoft and published a bug documenting article on AFo.

The build 17928.20156 with the bugfix is now available for the current channel. You may have to select "Update now" in File - Account to get it immediately. Details can be found in our documenting article on AFo.
