Hi all,
I'm having a VDI infrastructure (non-persistent) and planning to migrate the print servers from 2012r2 to 2022.
Due to printnightmare restrictions we want to pre-install the drivers on the master image.
We have PRINTER1 installed on w2012r2 and 2022 printer servers with what we believe (are 99% sure) is the same driver.
We install the PRINTER1 on the master image from w2012r2 server. Therefor the driver is already present for all deployed VDIs.
When we connect to the news VDI and try to connect to PRINTER1 on the w2022 print server, the client OS still tries to download the driver (already present).
Can anyone explain this ????
