Hyper V Virtual CPUs and Physical Core Mapping guide

Hi Everybody,

Do we have any official Microsoft documentation that describes the relation between the Hyper V virtual processor and the physical core in the host?

I am assigning the core for each software requirement but the vendor does not provide if the same is needed for virtual machines or not.
